Are there and good markets in Boston?
I just moved to Boston and was wondering, are there any good open-air markets? I’d like somewhere where I could find things like antiques, vintage jewelry, maybe some crafts and interesting food. When/where could I find this?
The largest open air flea market is in Revere on weekends, in the huge parking lot surrounding the theaters at the junction of Rtes 1 and 60. No food, though.
The largest open air food market (nothing unusual/interesting, unless you think the offerings at the 2 halal markets are unusual) is Haymarket, open Fridays and Saturdays.
But just an hour’s drive away is Brimfield, where on weekends is the largest open air antiques market in the United States.
