I wonder about "antique" pottery.?
I do not know what category to put this track: (I've been looking online and all I can find sites that sell the parts I bought. I was at a real estate sale and bought a few pieces that are "supposed" to be antiques (thinking that I'm good to get a head start on my grandmother and Mother Christmas gifts because they love antiques )…. so, but I wonder if they will be proud of what I bought or if they look at me as if I do not know what I thought (I am not a antique Connoisseur) A piece is a tray of Burgess and Leigh, but when I looked Burgess and Leigh, I did not find the plate, or the stamp on the back. Other plates are those little pin of Denmark. We have the siren was the ship was cobbled streets / city, and it has a farm scene. Can someone help me find a site that talks about the value of antiques (not one that I need to pay to join, please)?
I found a site or two which I hope will help. Http: / / www.antiquesresearchguide.com/ http://www.thepotteries.org/potteries/burgess http://www.mygrannysatticantiques.com/html/value_your_antiques.html Htm Hope. It helps and good luck.
